ASL in the raw: THE PRESS

Newsflash.... Jason Norman and Doug Ridloff are featured in the December 15-28, 2005 issue [Issue #533/534] of Time Out NY!!! :)

Catch the comedic portrait of these geniuses and read all about them and the makings of ASL in the raw at Bowery Poetry in the article, "Your hands are dirty!", on page 16 in the section titled Out There. Go ahead and nab the mag for three bucks.... or save the cash for temporary online access.

ASL in the raw: THE HYPE....

Promos announcing the premiere of ASL in the raw (which I personally penned and designed) were first handed out and also posted online at DeafNYC News within the Deaf community throughout October and November. Needless to say, they were well-received!

Here's the actual text below. Or you may take a glance at the actual flyer over here.

ASL in the RAW
Hosted by Jason Norman and Doug Ridloff

Finally... an intimate spot [could it be the next G-spot?] where Deaf entertainers sharing adult humor and drama in American Sign Language can be viewed and enjoyed!

This event is R-rated... well, perhaps X-rated. Hell, it could be 'safe sex' redefined, depending on your point of view... Stories may be too hot to handle. Please take a moment to acknowledge that you've been warned.

Required admission of $6 for audience voyeurs [age 18 & over] at Bowery Poetry. Tasty refreshments, alcohol and other drinks also await your tastebuds.
